Since its foundation Elilombarda has based its growth on the fundamental concepts of quality. In fact Elilombarda since the early nineties has based its organization according to the European parameters JAR, now EASA, which sanction the quality and product certifications for the companies adhering to the European community. Elilombarda, in order to improve also the aspects of the satisfaction of its customers, a typical topic of the ISO standards, decided in the first months of 2002 to request the ISO 9001 certification for all the services where it is engaged today.

Since July 2002 Elilombarda, a UNI EN ISO 9001 – 14001 – 45001 certified company, has extended all its quality levels to air transport services with helicopters including helicopter rescue services as well as transport on platforms. Moreover, with the recent recertification, it has introduced not only maintenance and training activities but also the management of so-called corporate passenger transport. These additional certification efforts have allowed us to improve customer satisfaction and today we can declare ourselves a company where every process has its own certified quality control.

Elilombarda has also been recognized as one of the first companies in the industry to operate according to EASA 965/2012, thus guaranteeing a standard recognized at European level for all operational activities that the company performs. This certification as well as allowing us to use non-scheduled helicopter transport activities throughout Europe has also allowed the implementation and introduction of a global quality system that can also monitor flight procedures thus ensuring its customers a higher level of standardization and efficiency on their services provided.

SAFETY AS AN ESSENTIAL ELEMENT OF OUR COMPANY

Safety is a core element of Elilombarda organisation

Safety is a core element of Elilombarda organisation, encompassing all the operative and technical Departments (operations, CAMO, Maintenance, ATO).

Elilombarda Safety Department developed a fully ICAO-compliant SMS (Safety Management System) since 2005, well before it became a requirement within the European regulation.

Elilombarda has a long-lasting experience in safey management, safety analysis, and an overall safety culture by fostering a sound safety organisation and actively participating to, and leading, international safety groups:

AERONAUTICAL LICENCES

COMMERCIAL AIR TRANSPORT (CAT)

COMMERCIAL AIR TRANSPORT (CAT) This Authorization allows the company to perform commercial transport of passengers with aircrafts up to 19 seats and to perform specifically then offshore and HEMS activities. The air transport license is regulated by the Air Operator Certificate (COA) which determines the activities that the company is able to perform according to EASA parameters.

EASA PART-145

Elilombarda is also a maintenance company certified EASA PART 145 for all the helicopters of its fleet. This certification allows us to carry out basic and line maintenance on the helicopters models we use and provides the possibility to perform maintenance throughout Europe also on behalf of third parties.. It should be noted that thanks to the experience gained by the company in the field of aerial maintenance ENAC has qualified Elilombarda up to the highest level of maintenance, this certification is obtained only after numerous checks to the entire structure thus ensuring also to any users that the activities are all carried out as required by the manufacturer and the law.

AUTHORIZATION SPO OPERATIONS

With the aim of being able to guarantee a complete operativity on the whole national territory.

APPROVED TRAINING ORGANISATION (ATO)

APPROVED TRAINING ORGANISATION (ATO) Elilombarda in order to cover also the training sector has recently expanded its certifications introducing a new qualification. Elilombarda in fact has an Approved Training Organization (ATO) approved by ENAC according to European standards Easa FCL. This new organization allows us to train all the operating personnel, even outside the company organization, according to recognized European standards. The ATO of Elilombarda in addition to providing all types of training on helicopters operated by the company has within it a series of courses approved for the release of the qualification for both the flight in the mountains and for the so-called flight off the coast.
